There are projects that fuel a child's desire to learn. Underwater viewer, pizza box solar oven, pinecone bird feeder, tabletop nature museum, grow your name, and, one I may try for myself, make your own floral paper. The book has recipes to make with your child as well.
A library patron asked if we had this book because she had heard about it on the radio, and I am so glad she did. After I told her we would try to get the book for her from another library I looked it up through my ordering source and knew we would want a copy for our library. The book is every bit as good as it sounded, ask for it at your local library.

Thank you for the kind words about my newest book Toad Cottages & Shooting Stars. Such a wonderful endorsement!

I am very excited to have your book in our library, I know it will be popular with our patrons. I only wish I would have had it when my kids were little, perhaps grandchildren one day.

I'm very excited to read this book. I love her other books! (And how cool to have Sharon Lovejoy comment on your blog!)
ReplyDeleteErin - I was thrilled to have the author comment, being a librarian and book junky myself.
